Battle Creek Camping Resort RV Glamping Park and Campground is the perfect base for exploring the stunning Black Hills of South Dakota. Located just 15 miles from Mount Rushmore, 31 miles from the Crazy Horse Memorial, and only 9 miles from Custer State Park, our resort puts you in the heart of the area’s most iconic attractions.
Nestled on 80 acres in the scenic Hermosa Foothills, our RV park and glamping campground offer a peaceful and picturesque retreat. Conveniently located off Hwy 40 and Battle Creek Road, we are approximately 5 miles west of the charming town of Hermosa, making it an ideal destination for both adventure and relaxation.

Check-in & Check-out Information
Check-in: Our check-in hours are from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM MST. Check-ins after 10:00 PM ARE allowed, but please be aware that there are no street lights in the area, and it can be quite dark.
Check-Out: Check Out is at 11:00 AM MST. If you would like to check availability for an early check in or a late check out, please make sure to reach out prior to booking to verify availability.
Late Arrival: If you need directions after hours, please keep in mind that phone service can be spotty in the hills. We highly recommend arriving during daylight if you are unfamiliar with the area or night navigation.
Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to the arrival date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after that will not be refunded. Please note: There are no refunds during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. For holiday reservations, a two-night minimum stay is required, and cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date for a full refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, and sent to info@battlecreekcampingresort.com.
Glamping Units: Please note that our glamping units do not have running water inside. While we provide bottled water for your convenience, there is no faucet in the units. The nearest water source is the Guest Favorite bathhouse, located just a short walk away.
